A HPCL Retail Outlet under the aegis of MESCO Ltd is functioning at Charkop, Mumbai since Feb 2005.
A dealer agreement for fifteen years was signed between MESCO and HPCL for running the petrol pump (Retail outlet) on 25 Feb 2005.
The same has been renewed for a further period of ten years on 29 Sep 20 till 19 Feb 2030.
The outlet is still functioning from temporary Porta Cabins as the Factory License has not yet been issued by BMC as the Building Proposal Plan has not been submitted by HPCL. The negotiations are ongoing. All necessary documents including order of Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of Maharashtra allowing the change of land use from educational to commercial has been sent to HPCL for their action. Once Factory License is issued and HPCL upgrades the petrol pump by making permanent structure, provision of additional facilities like installation of Oil Changing Machine, PUC Facility and 24x7 operation will be considered.
MESCO Petrol Station is also associated with Swachh Bharat program and the outlet is maintained in a spick and span condition at all times.
